Thinker

Acrylic, Illustration. The background story for this piece was addressing the gray zone between human and animal. We can look at some humans and wonder how they can even survive on their own. The truth is, in nature…they wouldn’t. Survival of the fittest does not apply in the human world. Therefore, only the smartest and strongest animals survive and strengthen while the human race is being held back by supporting the weak.

Tree of Life

There are no solid planes of color incorporated in this piece.  The entire image was created using dots, slashes and lines in various directions and colors.  This style of art gives this image an even greater feeling of surreal fantasy.

Ocean’s Hour

This was the first painting that I ventured into my imagination for content. Until this point, all my artwork was strictly from reference. On this piece I learned to use references as a guide to my own creation. This painting is full of life because I was stepping onto new territory, and there were no rules.
