This clay was Raku fired using ferric chloride to create the red coloring.
Kristin was born south of Buffalo, New York and moved to the mountains of NC in 2002 and fell in love with the Blue Ridge. She has been dealing with some health issues including Type 1 Diabetes, Diabetic Neuropathy and Fibromaylgia for the past few years, but has been struggling to focus her energy on creating artwork and fininishing her schooling for a degree in Ceramics, Printmaking and Graphic Design.
